It was in 2014 that I decided to make my contribution to development by promoting equal opportunities for children who deserve quality education and the opportunity to acquire the necessary skills in order to break the cycle of lack of opportunities due to lack of resources.
In my childhood I had to face difficulties together with my family. Being in the capital one day, the next day arriving at a place far away but with opportunities: Nuevo Paraíso. That place, directed by Sister María Rosa Leggol, was what gave us a support to start again. It gave my mother a job, it educated me and my siblings.
It was a source of help that gave me support for my professional growth, where once again: I came back! I started my working life in the place that saw me grow. That experience awakened in me, teaching as my reason for being.
My passion for teaching made me empathize with the difficulties that thousands of thousands face and what gives meaning to life; helping people who need it most. A great project was born in my mind that I am now carrying out together with a great team, who believed in my desire and complement me in improving it. Like me, many of us are big dreamers.
